This site is a tribute to Richard Charles Blakemore of Huntley. Richard passed away oh so gently at home on Friday 30th August 2019 with his beloved family around him. He was our loving Husband, Dad and Grampy and he will be sadly missed.

For over 30 years Dick was a member of the Richard Whittington Lodge of Freemasons. For more than 20 of those years he was our wise and much respected Lodge Secretary and mentor, who used his wide administration experience and talents kindly and effectively in guiding the Lodge affairs. Dick was truly an example to us all of a loyal masonic brother and friend and although we shall miss his lively influence and presence at our future meetings, his contribution to our Lodge over the years will never be forgotten by those who experienced his friendship.
